description High Cliff State Park is situated on limestone cliffs, sacred to Native Americans, that overlook the largest inland lake in Wisconsin. History and geology buffs will enjoy the park`s effigy mounds, lime kiln and quarry.
drivingDirection High Cliff State Park is located 9 miles east of Appleton on Hwy 114. Drive south on Pigeon Road, and turn left on State Park Road and follow to the park entrance.

importantInformation Visitors should access the park via Pigeon Road off State Highway 114 west of the Village of Sherwood. There is no access off High Cliff Road. Camping Information Campsite reservations can be made 11 months in advance. Family Campground sites reservations accepted between 5/1 and 10/31 Outdoor Group site reservations accepted between 4/15 and 10/31 Site 58 is the Host Site and not available for reservations. There are no overnight camping facilities for campers with horses. Sanitary Dump and Water Fill Station opens early April and closed late October (weather permitting). Primitive winter camping available in the Group Campground at family site rates from 11/16 through 4/14. Sites are not plowed. Sites are non-electric and only pit toilets are available.
